Senior Constable Kiri Grant
Specialist Child Interview Team, NZ Police

​Senior Constable Kiri Grant has 25 years’ service with the NZ Police. Kiri has been a specialist child interviewer with the Counties Manukau child protection team for the last 15 years. During this time Kiri has interviewed numerous children in complex cases of serious physical and sexual harm as well as witnesses to homicide and other serious crime. Kiri has mentored new interviewers from both Police and Oranga Tamariki and is involved in national training and ongoing support for interviewers.  Kiri is based at Te Pou Herenga Waka, the Multi-Agency Centre in Manukau, co-located with Oranga Tamariki Clinical Services, Counties Manukau District Health Board (DHB) and Counselling Services.
