Three break-out rooms, with an experienced paediatrician expert witness and two criminal lawyers in each room. In each room, volunteers will have the opportunity to “go on the stand” using cases taken from the formal statements provided in the online pre-learning. Each volunteer will have 5 minutes to give evidence in chief, 5 minutes for cross examination and 5 minutes for discussion and feedback.  This will be followed by 30 minutes of group discussion and Q & A about the whole process of preparing for and giving evidence in criminal court.
