Lisa Currie is the Mentoring, Accreditation and Quality Manager at Medical Sexual Assault Clinicians Aotearoa (MEDSAC). A primary focus is managing the MEDSAC mentoring programmes. Her role is engaging with clinicians after their initial training, and encouraging and supporting clinicians alongside their clinical Tuakana (mentor) as they progress to accreditation in the forensic, therapeutic and medical examination of sexual abuse, and non-fatal strangulation and suffocation.
