Priscilla Bilby
Clinical Nurse Specialist, Family Violence Intervention Team & Gateway Coordinator, Te Puaruruhau 

Priscilla Bilby is a Clinical Nurse Specialist working with the Family Violence Intervention Team as a FV Co-ordinator, and recently took up a role as a Gateway Coordinator within Te Puaruruhau. She is a trained Sexual Abuse Assessment and Treatment (SAATS) nurse for MEDSAC, working on the afterhours paediatric sexual assault team, supporting victims of sexual violence. 

Alongside her fulltime work, Priscilla completed training and is now an accredited trainer for the Safe & Together Institute, a child-centred model that provides a framework for partnering with FV survivors and intervening with users of violence to enhance the safety and wellbeing of children.  Priscilla’s health experience covers 16 years in NICU including becoming a member of the trained Flight Retrieval Team & a further 11 years in her current role.  As a passionate advocate for women’s voices and safety, Priscilla regularly presents at the Shine Advance Advocate Training as well as speaking for community spaces as requested.
